WBW is the non-profit arm of Deepti Designs INC which strives to present opportunities to the youth and adults to help them contribute towards our mission of shaping Creatively Dynamic, Culturally Rooted and Socially Sensitive individuals

Social Giveback Programs by WBW

We are a PVSA certifying organization and the goal of our PVSA program is to inspire adults, children, teens, young adults, ages 5 and up, to use art as a means to commit to serving the communities around. PVSA was established by an Executive Order of President George W Bush and founded in 2003 by the President’s Council on Service and Civic Participation to “recognize the important role of volunteers in America’s strength and national identity.

Meet the Board

Our board members are volunteers who are committed and dedicated to our mission of bringing about a change and raising the awareness of Traditional Art Forms

  • Deepthi lives in Seattle WA with her husband and two kids. A masters degree holder in Journalism and Communication, Deepthi has pursued her passion in journalism by starting her own YouTube channel where she interviews unsung heroes in different fields of interest and tells their story to the world. Formerly a Montessori preschool teacher, Deepthi has also gathered valuable experience in the Non Profit sector for the past 12 years by volunteering in organizations like Detectogether - a cancer awareness organization and Vibha - a non profit organization working towards education of underprivileged children.

  • Vidhya is a Seattle based Paraeducator and a music teacher. After being in the IT sector for 5 years she started volunteering with Greater Seattle Veda Patashala(GSVP) and Seattle Tamil Academy(STA) to pursue her interests in teaching before taking up a full time Paraeducator job with the school district.She has worked with Sathya Sai Seva Org,India as a volunteer to help the poor and disabled for many years.Vidhya currently lives in Bothell with her husband Siva and 2 daughters.

Mentors

Our youth mentors are folk art enthusiasts who are stalwarts in their own field with a substantial experience in engaging with kids and young adults. They volunteer to provide mentorship and guidance to the budding artists and help in building networks to promote visibility of traditional arts at varied platforms.

  • Supraja is a Virginia based trained fashion designer, digital artist and surface designer with extensive experience in apparel industry. She was into knitted apparel exports with over 50 clients across the globe. An Indian folk art enthusiast, Supraja is exploring digital mediums to make Indian folk arts more available and accessible to the art lovers around the globe. Currently, she runs her own art-label called AditiYeva Studio.

  • Ananya is a junior in the International Baccalaureate Program at Interlake High School and a student artist at Deepti Designs. Holding three certifications at Toastmasters International and current co-President at her Toastmasters Gavel Club, she is experienced in public speaking and leadership. Ananya enjoys exploring the arts to catalyze change in her community, whether it be through raising awareness about environmental sustainability or mentoring students in the academia and arts.
