Peacocks have a special place in the country of India. Apart from being the national bird, it has significantly found its place in different folk and classical art forms from primitive times. Let’s explore this regal bird in the Madhubani style which is a visual folk art native to Northern part of India. Come join her for a FREE session.

Diwali Chowki Workshop
Chowki Workshop is back for Diwali!
The popular workshop from the spring of 2021 is back for a rerun this Diwali.
Let's paint a wooden Chowki in Madhubani Godna Fusion. It is a conversation piece which will work as a serving tray or as a placemat or can also be set as a pretty vignette to light up a corner of living room.
The dates and timings mentioned on the flyer are when the zoom sessions will be held. The participants can choose to attend some or all of them. In addition, there would be detailed video supplements provided which will thoroughly help in completion of the project within 3 weeks.
It's an intermediate level workshop. Teens and adults are welcome to join. Younger kids with substantial interest and background in art are eligible too.
The Ancient Art of Madhubani Painting
Artist Deepti Agrawal explores the changing forms, trends and mediums of Madhubani painting over time, while also exploring the hidden tales behind some of its most popular artworks from the early 1900s. Come join her for a FREE session.
Deepti will provide interactive instruction so you can try this art form at home during the program.

Aashika’s Solo Art Show
Aashika Vishwanath, one of our most talented artists, presented a portfolio of her art works online for her solo show. She also conducted some very interesting and engaging activities for every age group in a live session.
It was an event to remember with over 50 families logging in from across the globe to attend the live sessions.
In Conversation with Gaurangi Gupta
Gaurangi Gupta, a rising 6th grader is a middle schooler who has founded Youth4Us, a charitable organization. She organized a successful children's business fair where over 130 kids across 55 booths. With help from her parents, she put together a team of children volunteer who worked towards the event. We invited her for a talk with our students to share her inspiring success story.
Redmond Children’s Business Fair
It was a spectacle. Our little artists Anugraha Ganesh and Oviya Raja worked tirelessly over 4-5 weeks to bring together a pop-up business booth.
They made a mini business plan where they brainstormed on product ideas, designing, inventory management, display, marketing, packing and packaging and finally sales and real-time client feedback!!!!

Good Act Children Business Fair
A great fair put together by Good Act Bothell for the kids to exercise entrepreneurship and learn the tricks of the trade right from product building, inventory management, pricing, marketing and finally sales.

DeeptiDesigns INC in association with the Center for Washington Cultural Tradition hosted the Indian National Award winner Madhubani Painting artist Smt. Bharti Dayal for a talk and a live demo.
Dhanvantari Workshop
An intermediate project Workshop blending Madhubani style with the ancient art of “Shilpa Shastra”.
Along with serving as a planter, the completed pot will be a conversation piece narrating the story of Dhanvantri, his significance in the mythology and his relevance in today’s day and age.

Mighty Pandavas Workshop
Six students of Deepti Designs School of Art conducted this free workshop over six weeks where they spoke about one Pandava brother each day.
Participants from all around USA participated in this workshop and created their own canvases of Pandavas and Draupadi.

Young Artist Showcase 2019
Over 100 artworks by 36 students of Deepti Designs School of Art was exhibited at the prestigious location of Seattle Center Armory as part of the Diwali celebration by ISKCON Vedic Cultural Center.
The first of its kind, this presentation was of artworks created by adults, middle and high schoolers and mostly little kids in the age group of 8-12 years.
The show of our heritage art style Madhubani Painting was attended and appreciated by over 500 people. The adroit brush strokes, skillful detailing, distinct compositions and the interesting narrative behind every painting left the visitors wonderstruck.
A big thank you to the connoisseur of Indian art and culture Latha Pat for her unconditional support and for giving us this prestigious platform.
