“I have always had a special place in my heart for seniors – especially the ones who stay away from their families. The pandemic exacerbated the situation for seniors who were living in retirement homes. Just as a way of spreading some cheer and joy to seniors, I wrote letters to many of them containing my art work. I also conducted online art lessons to a group of seniors at a local retirement home.

I was elated to see their enthusiasm not only in learning a new form of art, but their incredible interest and skill as well. They produced beautiful pieces of art and I was extremely happy to see them.”
