Aditi Satrasala, one of Deepti Designs’ students, set up a fundraiser in Missouri with the help of her mom Ashwini, to help the American Kids Heart Association. They sold boxes which were Holi themed filled with Gujiya, a delicious sweet fried dumplings and Pinwheels, which are puffed potato pastries. Aditi used her Madhubani skills she learned in class, to decorate the boxers with colorful Madhubani borders. They sold the art-pieces to raise funds.
