On October 18th, our art school hosted a workshop for Microsoft employees. The employees were given a six-hour time slot to drop in and participate in the activities run by our volunteers Sameera, Anika, Meenakshi, Venella, Srinidhi, Ms. Deepti, Ms. Nikita, and Ms. Aditi. 

Our volunteers worked hard to manage, engage, and teach all of the visitors about Madhubani, as well as help them create their own pieces of artwork to take home. The event offered a chance for many visitors to be exposed to Madhubani for the first time, and they had an opportunity to try their hand at Madhubani as well. As summarized by Meenakshi, “I really enjoyed seeing people who usually don’t do art come and sit down to do Madhubani art and create something.”
