Launch of Kathith

“If a long and toilsome ladder
You were trying to climb
You will not reach the top at once
But by one step at a time.”

Taking a cue from Lillian E. Curtis’ poem, we are taking a step forward towards bringing under spotlight the ancient Indian visual artforms with ‘kathith’, our new brand!

During the research on every artform, we cannot help but wonder at the level of details that have already been laid out and explicitly ear-marked. Kathith (meaning well-recited), therefore, was the best fitting name for this new arm which from now on, will present workshops and curriculum classes by gurus of the art styles, who have been the tradition-bearers for decades and over generations.

We seek your encouragement, love and support as we promise to give our best to wake the world up to the beauty, meaning and spirituality hidden in our heritage.
